County
Road S 650 W Bridge (in Madison County)
Parking: The northwest corner of the bridge
offers parking on the flat grassy shoulder of the
medium traffic road, with room for about 4 or 5
vehicles.
Path to River: There is a generally level
50 yard carry to the creek, but make sure to stay
close to the large stone rip rap near the end to
stay on the road easement property.
River Access: There is room to put one or
two boats in the water at a time, and the weedy
river bank is not a great place to linger. However,
there is "loading room" and "lingering
room" for several more boats and people in
the shallow side channel of the put-in.

The southeast corner
of the bridge also offers good access, with a 100
yard carry to the river. The path is over mostly
level grassy ground next to a fence, though you
will have to do a short carry over some large stone
rip rap near the end. The put-in itself is by the
outlet pipe of the nearby waste water treatment
plant. There is parking for about 6 vehicles along
the slightly angled, grassy shoulder of the road.
