State
Road 238 Bridge (in Hamilton County)
Parking: The best parking and river access
is west of the State Road 238 bridge and on the
north side of the creek, along Greenfield Ave. 4
to 5 cars can parallel park on the shoulder of Greenfield
Ave., a relatively low traffic road.
Additional Parking: Due to a very wide shoulder
there is additional parking available along State
Road 238 heading south from the bridge. However,
this is a higher traffic road, and it makes for
about a 100 yard walk to the access on Greenfield
Ave.
Path to River: There is a 25 yard carry
to the river down a moderate grassy slope.
River Access: The river bank is rather weedy,
so there is room to load only 1 boat at a time.
However, there is lots of room to linger while getting
ready.
