Falls
Park
Parking: There is lots of safe parking,
with 5 to 10 spots nearest the river access.
Path to River: There is a short 10 yard
carry over flat, grassy ground to the creek.
River Access: One probably has to wade into
the rocky creek, closer to the State Road 9 bridge,
to reach floatable water. There is room to load
many boats at a time, and it is a very nice place
to linger while getting ready.
Located off North Pendleton Avenue (State Road
9), this is a beautiful town park within walking
distance of the quaint town center shopping and
dining area. The park includes a large playground,
walking paths around and over man-made falls on
Fall Creek, a ball field, a large pond with ducks,
a large and small covered shelter, a gazebo, restrooms
and more. It even has a small historical museum
that is open on Saturday and Sunday.
